Wow Anastasia
Your drawings look great, even though the proportions are not 100% accurate. Do you use the grid system in laying out the rough outlines for your drawings?

Hi Anastasia, first of all your drawings are already really strong your values, shading and details are very well controlled. The “strange” feeling you’re talking about is almost always a proportion issue, and that’s totally normal at this stage.
My biggest advice is to slow down at the beginning and spend more time on the construction phase. Before adding any details, block in the head using simple shapes and constantly compare sizes (for example: eye to nose, nose to mouth, width of face vs height). Also try flipping your drawing horizontally or checking it in a mirror mistakes in proportions become very obvious that way.
And one more important thing: always check your drawing from a distance. Don’t judge proportions when you’re zoomed in on details. Step back, look at the whole, then correct.
You’re on a really good path already, this is just the next skill to refine. Keep going, you’re doing great 😊🎨2-
