Your proportions are really good and so is your skin texture. I think that if the face were a little bit lighter with more highlights your drawing would really come alive.

The lighting and contrast are very strong, and the face has a powerful presence. The eyes especially feel alive.
You’ve handled dark values with great confidence, which is not easy.
