Still here
I’ve been at this course forever and haven’t posted in a while, but here’s my before and after eye!
I’ve never drawn before, but I feel like my understanding of the techniques has improved. The first time, I just tried to follow the steps but didn’t know enough to be able to self-correct, so the whole thing went off the rails. 😅 By then, I didn’t even have the patience to finish it (notice the lack of eyelashes, lol).
Now, I can make my own decisions to help the drawing stay on track. Very curious to see how the final projects go.

Ekua, this is more than just a better eye. The first drawing shows you learning the process, but the second shows you beginning to think like an artist. You noticed what was going wrong, made decisions, and stayed with the drawing until it came together. That ability to self-correct will help you far beyond this exercise. I’m really looking forward to seeing where you take the final projects.
