Just started drawing for a couple of weeks now.
Giving beginner drawings a try from the library.
It’s definitely not easy starting from scratch, but I’m doing my best to keep going.
I’m following the basic graphite course and challenging myself with each drawing from the library.
All feedback is welcome, as I’m completely new to this.
Just a few weeks ago, I had never held a pencil like this before.

And honestly, for just a couple of weeks, this is really impressive. I can see you’re putting in real effort and following the process properly. That’s the most important part at this stage 👍 The butterfly and cat piece is very nicely observed, especially the shapes and contrast. The rose study shows good understanding of light and shadow, and I like how you’re experimenting with blending. The eye drawing is also a strong step, you’re starting to build depth and detail already.
Right now, just focus on keeping your values clean and controlled. Try building in layers instead of rushing to darks, and you’ll see even better results.
You’re off to a great start, keep going like this 🙌🎨

@alihaiderrehman Thank you for your kind words and detailed feedback. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m doing my best to stay consistent and improve. I’ll work more on controlling my values and building up gradually.
