Thought I’d share a quick update on the horse and my sister’s daughter piece.
It’s coming together slowly this one’s taking a lot of time, but it’s worth it. The horse is almost done now.

Ruan, this is coming together really nicely 👏 The horse is already looking very strong, especially the structure and the way you’re building the forms. I can see good patience in your layering, and that’s exactly what this kind of drawing needs.
Taking time on a piece like this is completely normal, and honestly worth it. You’re very close now. Just keep your values clean and push the final contrasts carefully, especially around the eye and main focal areas.
Excited to see the final result, this is going to be a beautiful piece 👍🎨
