New here, just starting...
Hi everyone, I am happy to be joining you all. Here is my “pre-instruction” eye drawing. I am a seasoned beginner in my fifties, haha… self and youtube university taught. I didn’t draw as kid or young adult and didn’t know I liked this until my forties… With health issues and such, my progress will be slow, but slow and steady is the best I can do… I feel like I know something here and there but often cannot get what I see to come out quit how I want or with truer likeness. My sad little eye lashes are funny… Please offer any criticisms and suggestions you like, I am a happy little sponge =)

@Olabram You are right that I am not an absolute beginner. As I was saying, I am a ” seasoned beginner”…I suppose – like – I have watched YouTube and learned stuff that way and tried stuff. I feel like I am full of gaps in my ability and understanding and get stuck a lot… This course very much interested me because I discovered that I love portraiture and want to learn how to do it using better techniques. I was scrolling through and you guys are all very good. I was very intimidated to post anything, to be honest. Social media stuff is not my comfy zone, haha, but I am so happy to be here and learn to draw with you all and be brave and meet some fellow artists. =)

well i dont think you will have any problems here you might find some of the stuff a little pointless but then i think you will find some interesting projects also good luck and a very good eye too

@Tan yes, grafite only. I would love to try charcoal one day but that’s a big leap… Seems like a totally diff. medium…
