Michael this is a fantastic first attempt. The amount of detail you’ve packed into the iris and skin texture shows that you already have a strong eye for realism.
For someone who started drawing only five months ago this is honestly impressive. Keep practicing your soft transitions around the eyelids and you’ll see your drawings get even more polished.
