And don’t worry about the hair at all. Hair is one of the hardest things for every artist in the beginning. The trick is to think of it as groups of shapes, not individual strands. Once you start breaking it into simple sections with light and dark tones, it becomes much easier and way less stressful.
You’re doing great already… and trust me, no one needs to draw everyone bald to avoid hair. You’ve got this! Keep going and it will click sooner than you expect. 🎨✨

Thank you Ali, for your kind words and encouragement! This is a picture of my friends daughter who passed away 3 years ago . I presented her with the portrait last night and she cried. She said “ my baby”, and broke down in tears and hugged me ☺️.
