Cheryl, don’t be too hard on yourself. 😊I actually think this turned out really well. The overall shape is accurate, and I can see that you’re starting to understand how to build colors in layers. Blending with colored pencils takes time to master, so what you’re experiencing is completely normal. My biggest suggestion would be to use lighter pressure in the early layers and build the color gradually. That gives you much smoother transitions and prevents the paper from becoming saturated too soon. Keep practicing. You’re making steady progress, and every drawing is getting better. Well done! 👏
