Wilson, you are actually doing better with pressure control than you think 😊I can already see lighter and darker value changes in the mountains and trees. That control comes with repetition, and this is a solid practice piece. Try slowing down your pencil strokes a little more and use lighter layers first before going darker. That will make your shading feel even smoother!

Have gone through that one too. IMHO maybe too many mountains and the need for a bigger lake. But we’re all here to learn. 😉
