I struggled to get the light and shadow effect. But got courage to post it for all my community friends. I am glad i tried to draw because it was hard for me.

Hi David
Nice drawing. Practice, practice, that’s the way to becoming a great artist. Ali has such a great method of instruction. It makes learning to draw so very rewarding.

Studio Community 7 months agoGetting there slowly this A2 is Huge. I’m using Faber-Castell Matt graphite pencils on this one something different, but I’m really enjoying how they handle. When I reached the forehead, I stopped following the tutorial and just went for it on my own. So far, I think it’s turning out pretty good.

Studio Community 7 months agoFirst Eye
Hello
I have just begun this amazing drawing course.
I quite liked drawing the eye, except I found the eyelashes really difficult., something i look forward to improving.
I don’t know if my upload has cut off some of the eyelashes!!
Any advice would be very welcome. Thank you
