I have always loved being creative in whatever caught my fancy. Now that I am gearing up for retirement I wanted to spend time learning how to draw. Yes, I too drew stick figures never imagining I would step into the realm of drawing. I fell hard and fast with graphite and charcoal drawings. I am still very much a beginner as with all things this journey has opened a brand new world in creativity for me. Drawing relaxes me and sets my mind free. I do enjoy colored pencils and pastels however graphite and charcoal are at the top of my list.
