first time back drawing after about a month, my arthritis in my hands as finally got a bit better.
tried out yet another brand of pencils mars lumograph black, they are quit hard and do not blend as well as others, but they are definately a lot darker with no graphite shine, it is a pity they are not nice and smooth like hi uni’s

Sorry to hear about your arthritis. Great job though.. keep going at your own speed and comfort level and hopefully the joy of art will help relieve your arthritis a bit.

Nice work here, the texture is coming through well and you handled it with good control.
Those pencils can feel harder, but they’re great for deeper darks like you noticed.
