Hi Christine. For your first drawings, you are doing awesome. If you go through all of the exercises in the “Pencil Drawing Masterclass”, you will learn all of the technics necessary to be the exceptionally good artist that I am guessing you want to be. Happy venture. 👍

Darks
I seem to really struggle getting depth in my drawings, Im using the right paper, right pencils, even been trying 9b or black pencil for darkest areas, but it just fades away?
Tried all the the different shading methods with no success.
Same with the graphite powders it never seems to lay down dark or stick to the spots i want it too

Just started attempting to draw at 36😅 so here is my ‘before’ from the course. Really exited to learn more and see my progress. Think i need to invest in a better micro ereaser though as mine was awful!
