Daniel, this is a really thoughtful piece of work, and 70% is much further than you may feel when you’re looking at it closely. The details are already doing a lot of the work. Now try stepping back from the drawing and checking it from a distance. Look for the areas where the reference has its deepest darks and compare those with your drawing. Adding a few carefully chosen dark accents, while keeping the lighter areas clean, can make the whole image feel more realistic without needing to redraw everything. You’re on the right track, so don’t lose confidence. 👏

if i wasnt looking at the reference i would think thats bloody good

reference sort of makes it to light when compared and the left side hair may be a bit fuller saying that i love it👍
