• Challenging

I found this one quite challenging. Made a lot of mistakes but also learning as I go.

      • Seems like a challenging subject indeed, but you’ve handled it very well. Personally don’t see a lot of mistakes besides the fact that your grid is showing trough. IMHO.

        • @pacific8118 thank you so much. I didn’t know a tissue would have been able to “hide” the grid. 🫣The diy graphite powder was also darker than intended.

        • This is a beautiful study of form and light. The transitions are very soft and controlled, which gives the teapot a convincing three-dimensional appearance. Very clean, very subtle, and very well executed. 🤩

Michelle, this is looking really good! I know this subject can be challenging because the smooth curves leave very little room for error, but you’ve done a great job. The soft value transitions give the teapot a nice rounded form, and the overall proportions look solid. The best part is exactly what you said. You’re learning as you go. Every mistake teaches you something, and that’s how real progress happens. Keep it up! 💙
