Frenky, you’re making great progress! The proportions look much more accurate, and the shading is becoming smoother with every assignment. I also like that you’re experimenting with different camera angles. It’s a nice way to present your work and see it from a fresh perspective. One small tip would be to push the darkest values a little more, especially under the banana and around the contact shadows. That extra contrast will make the fruit feel even more three dimensional. Keep it up! 👏

        • @alihaiderrehman thank you so much Mr Ali for your suggestion and input. I will put more attention to push the darkest values a little more, Actualy, before I smoothed the shading with brush, the bottom part already looked darker, I,m having trouble drawing on a flat table. Do I need to use special drawing table or do you have any other suggestion? 🙏

@fjienarta You’re very welcome, Frenky! 😊 Personally, I use a flat table, and it works perfectly for me. But every artist is different. Some people prefer a slightly angled drawing board because it’s more comfortable for their posture and neck. If the values looked darker before blending, it’s possible the brush lifted or spread some of the graphite. Try using a lighter touch with the brush and build your dark values gradually in layers rather than blending everything at once.
My suggestion is to use whichever setup feels most comfortable for you. The best drawing table is the one that allows you to work comfortably for long periods. Keep experimenting until you find what works best for you.

      • @fjienarta well done! Great drawing. You’ve given me an idea before I head to the hospital. I was busy with the fried egg drawing, but I’ll try a similar setup based on a reference photo. I only have a few days left. You’re getting better and better. I hardly recognize your work compared to your first drawings👏
