This is a good start. Draw your eye again and listen and watch the tutorial closely. Then compare your first and second attempts.
My guess is that you will see a great improvement. If you choose to draw the eye 4 or 5 times, you will be amazed at how well your eye will look.😊

Keep practicing. The eyes are the most difficult part, and I make a lot of mistakes with them too.

Jesse, good start. Drawing an eye is one of the hardest first steps and you had a proper go at it. One thing to push next, your iris is shaded evenly all round, so it reads flat. In a real eye the top of the iris sits in the shadow of the upper lid and the bottom catches light. Keep the top of the iris darker and leave a little light at the bottom, and the eye will look round instead of flat. Keep at it.
