Final Eye
Well, I finally finished my final eye. I enjoyed this assignment a lot, still I am having problems trying to get a darker Black. Any suggestion ? I submit my before and after.

Ashok, first of all, you’ve made excellent progress from the earlier version. 😊
The improvement in the eyelashes, iris details, and overall eye shape is very noticeable. You should be proud of how far you’ve come. As for getting darker blacks, the secret is usually not a darker pencil but more layers and patience. Try building multiple layers of soft graphite rather than pressing harder with a single layer. Also make sure you’re comparing your darkest areas to your lightest highlights. Often a black looks gray simply because the surrounding values are not dark enough yet.
If you want even deeper blacks, you can also experiment with graphite powder or a very soft pencil like 8B, but use it in thin layers rather than heavy pressure.
Most importantly, compare your before and after. The improvement is clear, and that’s what matters most. Keep going, Ashok. You’re heading in the right direction. 👍-
