Martin, this has such a strong atmosphere to it. 🔥
The contrast between the three faces immediately grabs your attention, and the dark background really helps push the mood even further. I especially like how the central face becomes the focal point while the side faces add that unsettling, dramatic feel. Definitely a piece that tells a story and makes people stop and look twice. Great work! 👏

@alihaiderrehman Thank you very much, Master Ali. I spent a really long time working on this drawing and tried to improve my shading, especially the small details in the face. Sometimes it worked better, and sometimes not so much, but overall I’m proud of the result.
At the same time, I know I have to keep going and keep improving because drawing has become like an addiction for me. I would also like to thank you for your help, and a big thank you to the community as well, who are always willing to help whenever they can.

Today I tried to draw a portrait of my sister. I even converted the reference photo to black and white myself so I could recognize the values more easily, but it was a disaster. I spent 7 hours drawing the same portrait twice because I simply couldn’t get it right.
I have huge difficulties identifying exactly where the dark, mid-tone, and light values are located. Could you please make a video explaining in detail how to recognize and draw these values and transitions correctly? That would be incredibly helpful.
