Realistic Eye Drawing for Beginners
I completely messed up this one. So frustated that I willingly forced myself the other way around and sketch, not really draw based on a painting in less then 15 minutes. I took my hands off at just 15 minutes to complete this sketch of a well known artist. I decided to share both with the community. Failures are part of the learning process I guess…….. So this time I’m ready to receive some critics. Never the less tomorrow is another day !

Great practice Frederic. Failure is one of our great teachers. I figure if I’m not failing a little along the way, I am not learning anything new.

Frederic, do you know what I see here? I see someone who refuses to quit.
Most people would hide the drawing they are unhappy with. Instead, you shared it, analyzed it, learned from it, and then challenged yourself with something completely different. That takes courage. The eye taught you something. The quick sketch taught you something else. Neither was wasted time.
Keep doing exactly what you’re doing. Progress doesn’t come from perfect drawings. It comes from drawing after the imperfect ones. 👍
