• ONE OF MY MOST HYPER REALISTIC DRAWING

Drew this in 2024 at age 19 — graphite + charcoal on paper.
A hyper-realistic study of light, texture, and depth, focusing on the emotion and intensity within the human eye. Tried to make it feel alive through contrast and fine detailing.

      Would love your thoughts! ✨

This is genuinely impressive. The level of control you have over contrast, texture, and depth, especially in the eye, is far beyond what most artists achieve, and doing this at 19 makes it even more remarkable.

The eye feels alive because your darkest darks are confident, the highlights are placed with intention, and the transitions are smooth without becoming muddy. The lashes, skin texture, and subtle value shifts around the eyelids all work together really well. You clearly understand how light wraps around form, not just how to copy detail.
If I had to nitpick at all, it would only be about pushing select edges a little softer in a few areas to increase realism even more, but honestly, that’s refinement, not correction.
Be proud of this one. You’re already operating at a very high level, and with time and consistency, your work will only get stronger. 👏

          • fantastic, well done
