old scrapbook
Having looked at Christina’s old artwork I dug out an old scrapbook I had for Charcoal drawings, Aa couple of them are from the first time I joined Ali’s lessons, its funny when you look back at the time I thought they were great, not so sure now.😃

Looking back at old work is one of the best ways to see how far you have come. These drawings still have a lot going for them. Strong effort, clear forms, and real intention. At the time, they *were* great, because they represented your level and your curiosity back then 👍
What is beautiful is that now you can see the gaps. That means your eye has grown. That is real progress.
Keep that scrapbook safe. It tells your story, and it will motivate others who are just starting out 🎨1 -
