The flow of the lines and the soft value transitions give it a fabric like feel, especially something like folded cloth or silk. That circular format works very well for this kind of texture study too.
If you want to push the cloth feeling even more later, you can slightly soften a few of the sharp transitions and let some areas fade more gently. But overall, this is a very convincing and well observed texture. Keep experimenting like this 👍
