Water Bubble on a Dandelion
It’s unbelievable to see my progress through Ali Sir awesome tutorials. Before beginning as well in the middle stages of this drawing, my nervousness increased and self confidence was shaking. But now its done and posted in the community. Critiquing is welcomed please

@sunrvn88 Thanks Elodie. I am just a beginner and get some anxiety moments during the process. It’s challenging

@Reema I’m a beginner too. I completely understand how you feel. But I’ve realized that errors helps me learn, and I even see it as a game I love. So I learn by playing. Everyone progresses at their own pace; we’ll get there, you’ll get there. And you’ve done a great job! We improve because we keep going 🤗

Same pic but a different capture with same camera. Any tips on how to click a good pic for posting? The pencil gradations are very subtle and need a perfect click. But how?

Reema, this is a beautiful result 😊 First of all, I love your honesty about the process. That nervousness you felt is actually a very good sign. It means you are pushing your limits, and that’s exactly where growth happens.
Your bubble looks very convincing. The reflections and highlights are well observed, and the spherical form is clearly readable. That’s the hardest part, and you handled it really well. The soft background also helps the subject stand out nicely.
For improvement, focus a bit more on clarity inside the bubble. Some reflections look slightly muddy, so try simplifying shapes and separating light and dark areas more cleanly. This will make the glass effect feel sharper and more realistic.
Also, in the dandelion strands, you can vary the thickness and sharpness a little more. Some lines can be softer and lighter to create depth instead of everything having the same intensity.
Overall, this is strong work, especially considering how you felt during the process. You finished it, and that matters a lot.
Keep going like this. You are clearly improving 🙌
