Hello!!
Hi everyone! I haven’t drawn anything for a while due to lack of time and a heavy workload, but I spent the last two days working on this drawing 🙂
Thank you, Ali, for the tutorial — I had an amazing time, but I added a bit of my own touch to see how my skills are developing, so it’s not exactly 1:1 with the reference 😀

Wow! That is absolutely fantastic! As an artist you get to add your own creativity. Hair looks so good and wrinkles too. Bravo. I hope to achieve that same greatness one day soon.

What a great job drawing. You have really brought the old man to life.
I just started drawing this same old man. I know it will take me a lot more than 2 days to draw. I am still copying every move Ali makes in the tutorial. 👍

Really nice to see you drawing again, and this turned out beautifully. The lighting and mood are very strong, especially that side lighting on the face, it gives a lot of depth and character. The hair work is also very expressive and flowing nicely. I like that you added your own touch, that’s a great sign of growth. It shows you’re not just copying but understanding. For improvement, just watch the transitions in the darker areas of the face, some spots can be softened a bit more to avoid patchiness. Also, keep an eye on edge control so the focal areas stay sharp and the rest fades naturally.
Overall, really strong piece after a break, keep going like this 👍🎨
