Brooo Umi this is a huge improvement 😄 your shading is definitely better than before! I can actually see how much smoother your transitions have become, even though the paper texture is fighting you a little 😂
And don’t worry about the local sketchbook. A rough surface just means you have to layer a bit more and blend with lighter pressure. You still handled the reflections and the shadow really well, which shows your control is improving fast.
Keep going like this. Your effort is showing in every drawing and you’re getting closer to clean, realistic grades with each attempt. Proud of you man 👏🔥

@umiiumii Broo you’re doing great already and I love how serious you’re getting about improving Fur looks tricky at first because our brain wants to draw separate lines, and that always turns into stick like strokes. The secret is to forget about “individual hairs” and start blocking the fur in soft shadow shapes first.
Once the base shading is smooth, then add fur in layers. Start with very light, short strokes that follow the direction of the fur. After that, use slightly darker strokes on top only where the shadows naturally form. And the last step is adding a few sharp hairs with the eraser for highlights.
If you follow this flow you’ll see a big difference. Keep trying, you’re improving fast and you’ll get there sooner than you think 🤍✨
