Introducing the New Tutorials & Packs Experience
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share something I’ve been working on for the past several months.
When I first launched the Academy back in October 2025, I was still very new to web development. At the time, the Real-Time Tutorials and Reference Packs system was the best I could build. It worked, but it was far from perfect. Tutorials lived on simple pages, finding specific content wasn’t always easy, and many of the features I dreamed about were either missing or too buggy to rely on.
Since then, I’ve spent countless hours rebuilding these systems from the ground up.
I’m excited to announce that the new Real-Time Tutorials and Reference Packs experience is now live.
Instead of scrolling through long pages trying to find what you need, both Tutorials and Reference Packs now have dedicated library pages where you can easily browse, search, and filter content. You can filter by difficulty level, medium, locked/unlocked status, and much more. Some of these features existed before, but they frequently broke. This new version was built to be stable, scalable, and ready for the future.
Each tutorial and pack now also has its own dedicated page with native Academy functionality. Your progress is automatically tracked and reflected in your dashboard, making it much easier to continue where you left off. You can share tutorials and packs with friends through social media or WhatsApp, and the Favorites feature is currently being finalized and should be available within the next couple of days.
But the biggest achievement isn’t any individual feature.
The biggest achievement is that Tutorials and Reference Packs are now fully integrated into the Academy itself. They’re no longer isolated pages bolted onto the website. They are now part of the platform’s core foundation, which opens the door for many new features, tools, and improvements in the future.
And this is where I need your help.
I would love for everyone to spend some time exploring the new Tutorials and Reference Packs sections and share your feedback. Tell me what feels good, what feels confusing, what could be improved, and what features you’d like to see next. Many of the best features inside the Academy started as community suggestions, so please don’t hold back.
A quick note regarding Real-Time Tutorials:
Some of you may remember that tutorials were previously available for free or could be unlocked using Studio Points. The reason for that was simple: I was actively developing the native functionality behind the scenes and wanted as many people as possible to test it.
However, Real-Time Tutorials were never intended to remain permanently free. These tutorials take months to create, record, edit, and maintain, and supporting their continued development requires resources.
That said, anyone who unlocked tutorials before this update will keep their access permanently. Nothing changes for you.
Reference Packs, on the other hand, will continue to be unlockable using Studio Points, and we’ll keep introducing new ways for members to earn points and get the most value out of the Academy.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Every feature, improvement, and late-night development session has been driven by the support and feedback of this community.
I’m genuinely excited to hear your thoughts and ideas for what we build next.
Warm regards,

Dear Ali,
I’ve just spent some time exploring the new Tutorials and Reference Packs experience, and I wanted to say congratulations on what you’ve built.
This is a huge step forward in terms of discoverability and usability. The new interface feels clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Finding specific tutorials is now much faster and more convenient, and the filtering options make a real difference.
One suggestion for future development would be the addition of thematic categories or more detailed tags. As the content library continues to grow, this could make it even easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.
I’m also really looking forward to the Favorites feature, as I know there will be many tutorials I’ll want to revisit regularly.
I have to admit I was a little disappointed to hear that unlocking tutorials with Studio Points is coming to an end, as I really enjoyed that option. However, I completely understand the reasoning behind the change. The quality of these tutorials clearly reflects the enormous amount of time and effort required to create and maintain them. In fact, after reading your announcement, I immediately purchased a monthly membership.
Thank you for listening to the community and for turning this vision into reality. It’s obvious how much thought, dedication, and hard work has gone into this, and it shows throughout the platform.
I’m excited to see what comes next.
Warm regards,

Thanks. I was quite disappointed that I would not be able to unlock tutorials with studio points anymore. But now I’ve bought the lifetime plan. Best course I’ve done, well worth it. Looking forward to the 2 new courses.
