I’m about halfway through this portrait. The hair took quite a bit of patience, especially creating the highlights by lifting graphite with an eraser. It was challenging, but I’m happy with how it’s turning out.
Right now I’m focusing on the skin tones and contrasts, carefully building the shadows and highlights to bring out the facial features and create a more natural three-dimensional look.
Still plenty to do, but it’s starting to come together. 😊
