It looks nice. I’d say just practice. My eraser skill is still not perfect but learning more each time I do a tutorial. Could you describe the exact problem. Why is it “hard to control”? I find it hard in the beginning and I find I have to hold it with a bit of force to make it steady compared to non electric like mono zero type

Hi Ashok, your cat drawing looks very good. My advice on learning to get good results with the elect eraser and also the mono zero eraser is practice, practice, practice.

Brush some graphite powder onto a blank sheet of drawing paper and start practicing. You can use the flat sharp edge to make very fine lines or you can sharpen the eraser to a fine point on sand paper and make very small dots for texturing.

The electric eraser is a great tool and gives wonderful results when you learn all it will do.😊

Hi Ashok! First of all, your cat is looking really nice. The soft fur and gentle shading give it a lovely appearance. I do think the overall drawing is a little light, so don’t be afraid to push the darker values a bit more to increase the contrast.
As for the electric eraser, don’t worry. It takes a bit of practice to control. Try holding it like a pencil and use very light, quick touches instead of pressing hard. I also recommend sharpening the eraser tip regularly, as a fine point gives you much better control for small highlights. Keep practicing. It becomes much easier with time, and you’re already making great progress. 👍
