Apple is well done. Yes the leaf could use some contrast to bring details out.

Frederic, this is well drawn. Very good shape, shadows and color. The leaf is well proportioned but seems a little lacking in depth. It doesn’t seem 3d. The white spots on the apple could be softened a bit. Over all it is an exercise well done.👍
