Started this one today, I’m a few hours in, but wont be able to finish it for a while as I am flying back to the UK tomorrow for a wedding, not mine, thank god lol

I had a really good laugh reading your post, there were quite a lot of events packed into just a few sentences. 😁
I’m actually working on this one too, just a little behind you at the moment. But thanks to your trip and the wedding — which thankfully isn’t yours 😂 — I think I might finish mine before you do. 🤣
Your drawing already looks really good so far. The eye and eyelashes are beautifully done, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished result. 👍-
@SEDITH Yes, there’s a lot to do here, I need to knock those eye lashes back slightly as the eye looks slightly stretched, easy fix, but I reckon I have about another 4 hours with all the skin texture etc. Send me yours when it’s done. I can hear wedding bells, but feel like Quasimodo, it’s going to be a laugh, families getting drunk together in fancy dress, what could possibly go wrong?

The first wedding should always be taken seriously… but somehow the second marriages usually work out better anyway. 😄And honestly, every woman deserves the chance to dress like a giant meringue at least once in her life. 🤣
And weddings are always entertaining because suddenly the family members who haven’t spoken to each other for years are forced to sit at the same table and behave politely for one evening. What could possibly go wrong? 😂
And you know what, it’s actually good to step away from a drawing sometimes. When you come back with fresh eyes, you suddenly notice a hundred little mistakes and immediately wonder what exactly you were so proud of before. 😄Have fun and I look forward to the end result. 😊

@SEDITH I probably will come back and think what was I proud of lol, and then think, perhaps I should take drugs and alcohol, then it will look better, but then there would be more of them, hic!

@Ron That actually happens to me all the time. 😄 Sometimes I think a drawing is almost finished, then I look at it again the next day and end up reworking half of it from the beginning.
And I’ve heard a glass of wine is supposed to help people through creative crises… maybe I should test that theory one day. 😂
