Finally done. Know I am still learning but this was a lot harder than I thought and not too happy with the results but not bad for the 1st time

You’re absolutely right, the cherry drawing is very challenging. The shine, the round forms, and the leaf texture are not easy at all. But honestly, you handled this really nicely. Started with the leaf, but it feels a bit flat. Maybe it’ll look better once the cherries are done. Don’t want to mess with it too much.

You’re reading it correctly 👍
The leaf feels a bit flat right now, but that’s totally normal at this stage. Once the cherries are in and you add stronger contrast and a clear light direction, the leaf will automatically feel more dimensional.
One small thing you can do later without overworking it: slightly deepen the shadow near the stem… Read more2 -

Starting My Drawing Journey
I’ve just joined the course and I’m hoping to learn a lot. I only started drawing last month and I’m really enjoying it. This is my second attempt at drawing an eye, and the learning material is excellent on youtube cant wait to see whats in the course. I’ll be starting the course soon.
