Finally done with this drawing. This is the first drawing I’ve done completely by myself — from the design to the sketching and shading — all without a tutorial. It’s 50 × 65 cm, so it’s huge haha. I made a lot of mistakes, but I learned so much.
I’m not happy with the clothing, but I’ll focus more on details and shading for clothing in the next…

Thought I’d share a quick update on the horse and my sister’s daughter piece.
It’s coming together slowly this one’s taking a lot of time, but it’s worth it. The horse is almost done now.

Outline is almost done. It’s massive (50×65 cm). Can’t wait to finish this one. I created the reference using AI of my sister’s daughter she loves horses.

I am finally done with this A2 drawing. It’s been an awesome experience. I really struggled with this paper as it’s not Bristol and didn’t blend as well, but I managed to get it done.

Getting there slowly this A2 is Huge. I’m using Faber-Castell Matt graphite pencils on this one something different, but I’m really enjoying how they handle. When I reached the forehead, I stopped following the tutorial and just went for it on my own. So far, I think it’s turning out pretty good.

I started drawing in December last year. I have never draw anything like this or a face before. This is an excellent course and would recommend it to everyone. The picture does not do it justice struggling with the phone to get a good picture.

You’re absolutely right 👍
With cloth, it’s not really about perfect proportions. What matters most is the flow, rhythm, and the way the folds move across the surface.
