Finally done with this drawing. This is the first drawing I’ve done completely by myself — from the design to the sketching and shading — all without a tutorial. It’s 50 × 65 cm, so it’s huge haha. I made a lot of mistakes, but I learned so much.
I’m not happy with the clothing, but I’ll focus more on details and shading for clothing in the next piece. I also used new pencils I bought from Temu — the Chinjoo matte pencils. Excellent value for money. They go up to 20B, but I’d say the 16B or 18B is similar to the 14B matte pencils from Faber-Castell and the 8B in the Faber-Castell 9000 range.
Overall, I’m really happy with it, and I can’t wait to give it to my sister’s daughter. Now onto the next one.
