quick question, does anyone know why the photo you send over of your drawing looks not very good lacking in detail etc. When you click on the drawing and another page comes up it looks like the original photo, more detail and sharper.
hope someone can let me know or if not how to take a better photo

@Tony I got the opposite. Maybe the number of pixels of your camera or light source? Check maybe the settings of your camera and have a look in a photo viewer in full resolution. My two cents. 😉

@pacific8118 thanks, my photos on the tablet are nice and clear but when sent over lack detail, when you click on that photo in my post and another pages opens up they look like the ones on my tablet, confusing or i am just crap at taking photos lol

@Tony the one showing in the post is like a thumbnail generated by the website with lower resolution, so it loads faster, and also makes sure it fits into the post preview. When you click into the photo, it shows the original (larger, more detailed) version, which is what you originally upload)
In short, there’s nothing wrong with your photos

Hi Anthony! 😊 That’s completely normal, and it’s actually how the community is designed to work. The images everyone uploads are often very large and high resolution. If we displayed every photo in full quality directly on the community page, the website would become much heavier, pages would take much longer to load, and it would use a lot more memory and data on everyone’s devices, especially for members browsing on phones or slower internet connections. To keep the community fast and responsive, the image you see in the feed is a compressed preview. Your original high resolution image is not lost or reduced permanently. Whenever someone clicks on your image, it opens in a separate window where they can view the original high resolution version with all the fine details and sharpness.
So there’s nothing wrong with your photos. They are still uploaded in full quality. The smaller version you see in the community is simply there to make the website load faster and provide a smoother experience for everyone.1-
