This is a Pastel drawing drawing I did for my daughter when her dog died last Autumn , it is not a picture of her dog but one I drew of the same breed. It took me quite a while and quite a lot of paper and Pastel wastage,😀.

Looks great, i will have to draw my dog that died 2 months ago when I can draw fur properly, really struggling drawing fur at the moment

Thanks, Anthony, my little Yorkie died 6 months ago, Keep saying I will try, the problem with a yorkie is their fur it goes every were over eyes and allsorts of colours, but one day.

Everything feels thoughtful and intentional, and the fur especially is a big challenge that you handled so well. It looks patient, layered, and full of life. This clearly came from the heart, and it shows how much you love your daughter ❤️
And Anthony, do not worry at all. Fur takes time. Practice, patience, and consistency are the key. Keep going and you will get there for sure 👍2 -
