My attempt at drawing the pears, still think my shading need to be improved. It seems the more I try to alter the shading I’m not happy with the worse it gets

It looks like many of you are working on the same drawings right now. I’ve seen a lot of pears and cherries lately, which is actually great practice 😊
Coming to your drawing, Anthony, this is really good work. The form is reading well and your shading is already on the right path. As Larry suggested, give it one more try, but this time stop earlier than you think. Often the drawing starts to suffer when we keep correcting instead of trusting the first clean layers. With one more calm pass, you’ll see a big improvement 👍1
