This looks like a huge improvement, you can really see the effort you put into controlling your values and contrast here. The depth between the foreground trees, midground shapes, and distant mountains is much clearer now, and the atmosphere feels soft and natural. You handled the gradients in the sky and snow very nicely, it gives a calm mood to the whole piece. Really well done on going back and fixing your work, that mindset is what leads to strong progress.
