Another redraw I needed to do.
So this is a drawing from the simple and complex forms section 2:13. I have been working on increasing my contrast in this drawing. I tried to apply in this drawing was sharper edges and clearer value groups..which i hope i did.. please let me know how i did 😁 the 1st image is the old drawing and the 2nd is the one that I just redrew

There is a definite difference. Really nice improvement. Very sharp contrast and you blended it beautifully and have very smooth transitions from dark to light. Very impressive! Keep it up.

What a nice improvement. It would be interesting to see how much difference it would make to the overall drawing if you added a shadow of the object on your paper.😏

Fixed landscape assignment
So I went back on my landscape geometric assignment and redrew it. I hope i fixed what needed to be fixed haha 🙂 so i was really concentrating on contrast here and I was really struggling haha and I was trying to even out my values too.. please review 🙂 congratulations to Ali on the marriage !! So exciting!!!

This looks like a huge improvement, you can really see the effort you put into controlling your values and contrast here. The depth between the foreground trees, midground shapes, and distant mountains is much clearer now, and the atmosphere feels soft and natural. This is really coming along 🙌
Your depth is working beautifully. The darker trees in front and lighter ones in the back create a nice sense of space. That’s a big win. Just separate your values a bit more. Lighten the mountains slightly or darken the front trees to boost contrast.
