      • Great work, you’ve captured a strong gaze, and the eyes already feel expressive, which is not easy at all!
        A few tips that might help you improve even further:
        – Try to vary your line weight: eyelashes and eyelids look more natural when some lines are softer and others more defined.
        – The iris could benefit from more subtle value transitions. Right now it’s a bit evenly shaded. Adding darker areas near the top (under the eyelid) and lighter reflections can make it more realistic.
        – Also, keep in mind that the upper eyelid usually slightly covers the top part of the iris, this helps create a more natural look.
        – For eyebrows: instead of outlining them, build them with individual hair strokes in different directions and tones. That will make them look much more natural.
        – Also, consider the light source, strengthening highlights and shadows consistently will bring the whole drawing together.
        You’re definitely on the right track, it’s a great study, and I can see your attention to detail. Keep going!

          Hi Ashok 😊

          Strong effort. The eyes feel lively and your iris detail is nice 🙌Now push your darks a bit more, especially the pupil and upper eyelid shadow. That will add depth, Also check symmetry. One eye is slightly off
          Keep going👍🎨

          • @alihaiderrehman Dear Sir, Thanks for your kind attention, I am having problems darkening, it don’t seems to go beyond that, I tried pressure techniques and changing to darker pencil but that’s the darkest it gets. Help me .

              @Jit Hi Ashok 😊

              No problem at all. This is one of the most common challenges artists face.
              First, remember that graphite will never become completely black like charcoal. That is perfectly normal, so do not worry if it does not reach the same depth. The key is to build the darkness gradually using multiple light layers rather than trying to achieve it with pressure alone. Think of it like painting a wall. Several coats will always look richer and smoother than one heavy coat. Also, make sure the paper still has some tooth left. Once the surface becomes saturated, adding more graphite will have very little effect.
              So the secret is not more pressure, but more layers and patience 👍

            • I can really see the expression in her eyes!

            • I am amazed I can’t do better.
