“Smoky Memories” #2
About 5-15-26, Sedith posted an awesome drawing of a well seasoned smoky old lady that she created using her imagination.
Sedith was kind enough to offer her drawing as a reference if I was interested in drawing my version of this smoky rounder.
I was absolutley interested, so here is the result. I certainly learned a lot about subtle little lines and shading and how they can affect the whole character of the drawing.

Larry, I had been waiting so long to finally see what you would create from my drawing and Smoky Memories turned out absolutely stunning. I love the way you shaped the hair: the soft yet powerful waves give the portrait so much life and elegance. The cigarette smoke is especially beautiful, light, delicate, and almost moving through the air. It gives the entire piece a cinematic, melancholic atmosphere. The details in the hand, the shading, the texture of the face, and the depth of the wrinkles are all incredibly well done and full of emotion. What I appreciate most is that you preserved the soul of the original piece while adding your own artistic style and interpretation to it. Thank you for this beautiful rendition. I truly love it. 🤩👍❤
