Don’t get discouraged. I too want to jump right in and start drawing a really realistic picture but Annemie has great advice! I am starting from the beginning so I understand the techniques used. That way I don’t get frustrated because I really love art. Be patient, practice and hopefully you will enjoy the process.

Don’t be discouraged. I completely understand your ambition, but drawing hands is probably one of the hardest challenges in realistic drawing, even for professionals. ❤
Like others already mentioned, try choosing simpler subjects at first, because those will give you real feelings of success and help build confidence. Once you start practicing regularly, the improvement comes surprisingly fast, and later you’ll be able to approach more difficult subjects much more confidently. 💪
And honestly, the way you sketched the hands is actually quite good. The basic placement and structure are already there. Keep going and don’t give up. 👍
