Tea pot exercise using graphite powder for background
I made a lot of mistakes with this one. I forgot to settle the grid lines with a tissue after i erased it so the graphite powder shows where i erased the grid lines. If you look for it you will see it. The graphite powder i made with graphite sticks were too dark and then using it created a too dark background. I then struggled to see the tea-pot outlines even after i darkened the outlines after applying the graphite powder. Shading the pot was also difficult due to the shine of the graphite powder. I did this in the evening, so the table light exasberated the graphite’s shine. This is what i managed to achieve in the end.
