• Hello! <3

Hey artists! After about 20 hours, I finally finished this drawing. I’m not 100% satisfied with it, but since it’s my first piece in this format (100×70), I don’t want to be too hard on myself either 🙂 It looks much better in real life, and I’m sure it will look really nice on the wall 😀 What do you think?

P.S. I definitely need to work on my pace, because sometimes I feel like I’m rushing, and that surely doesn’t help the final result! Thank you, Ali, for the tutorial. As always, I also did a lot of things on my own to check my progress <3

        • @larry Thank u so much Larry! I do tattoos in my work so fast and can’t do it slow I think it’s why I do drawings quick as well 😀

        • I honestly think you’re being too hard on yourself. For a first piece at this size, it’s an outstanding achievement. The level of realism is impressive, especially the skin tones, and the wet, melting effect flowing over the face. The contrast between the smooth skin and the glossy liquid is beautifull and creates a striking visual impact.
Congratulations on pushing yourself outside your comfort zone—you should be proud of this one. Brilliant job IMHO ! 👏🔥

Anastasia, this is absolutely stunning! For your first drawing in such a large format, you should be incredibly proud. The mood, contrast, and expression are all beautifully captured, and the water effect adds so much drama. I also think you made a great observation about your pace. Slowing down is one of the best ways to improve, and you’re already recognizing that. If I could suggest just a couple of small improvements, I think the lips appear just a little too full, almost as if they’ve had lip filler. These are only minor adjustments though.
Congratulations on finishing such an ambitious piece. It looks fantastic, and I’m sure it will look even more impressive on the wall. Beautiful work! 👏
