I love to draw, with grafite, collard pencil, sometimes ink, sometimes charcoal, so now and than watercolours. As long as I can draw it’s fine by me. I started my first leson here an eye

Studio Community 5 months agoFinally done with this drawing. This is the first drawing I’ve done completely by myself — from the design to the sketching and shading — all without a tutorial. It’s 50 × 65 cm, so it’s huge haha. I made a lot of mistakes, but I learned so much.
I’m not happy with the clothing, but I’ll focus more on details and shading for clothing in the next…

The lips which are shaped well seem to be a little low, which makes the chin look very small. EZ fix.👍
This is a good exercise to play with to see how small changes affect the character of the drawing.

Amazing for just starting. Eye looks shiny. Good crisp eyelashes and great shading on lower lid as I can really see the fine details of the skin texture.

Your eye looks great for your first effort. Very good contrast, excellent iris, good eyelashes and nice skin texture.
Ali’s method of teaching is second to none. He makes learning to draw very pleasurable and rewarding.

Beautiful drawing Sehar. It seems to be a little dark. Dabbing the highlighted areas with a kneaded eraser to pick up some of the graphite might bring out a nice overall contrast.😊
