Old Man (white hair and beard)
I decided to call this old man “Hamilton”.
It was a pleasure to draw this one. I certainly learned a lot from it. Ali does such a good job of displaying his instruction. It is so rewarding to be able to complete these exercises.

This is truly outstanding work. The way you handled the white hair and beard is exceptional. It feels soft, layered, and full of movement. Every strand has direction and purpose, which is not easy to achieve.
The character you captured here is beautiful. The expression, the wrinkles, and the depth in the face all come together so naturally. It feels alive and full of story.
Your control over values is also impressive. The contrast and smooth transitions give it that strong realistic presence.
You’ve clearly put a lot of patience and care into this, and it shows in every detail. This is something to be really proud of.

Thank you Ali. It is so rewarding to have instructions that promote good results. This exercise in particular, your instructions are so precise and detailed in such a way that in every little section of the drawing you show how to bring life and dimension to a blank piece of paper.
