The structure and placement are very well done, and I can clearly see the likeness coming through, especially in the eyes and glasses. The way you’ve started building the darker side on the left is also giving a nice sense of depth and mood.
As you continue, try to push the contrast a bit more between light and shadow, especially around the cheeks and under the eyes, that will make the face feel more three dimensional. Also, keep your transitions soft on the skin to avoid patchiness and maintain that realistic look.
