Soda Can Tutorial
Not very happy with the can lid but I have tried to fix so many times. It looks ok overall
Pencils: Mars Lumograph black 100B – quite scratchy and noisy, but feels nice to draw with
Paper: cheap paper from homeware store (160gsm but feels a bit rough, hard to erase. Erasing picks up the paper materials)
Note: Got the languo erasers “Painting Specific Erasers” (3pack 45, 55, 65) and they are really nice, probably the best I’ve tried. Very soft and clean.

Cheryl, I think this turned out really well!
Crushed cans are surprisingly challenging because every reflection changes with each dent, but you’ve captured the metallic look beautifully. Don’t be too hard on yourself. The reflections, contrast, and overall form all work very well together.
And thank you for sharing your thoughts on the paper and erasers. I’m sure that will be helpful for other members too. Fantastic work! 👏1 -

@pacific8118 Got them from aliexpress, if you’re refering to the erasers. Languo has some very nice art supplies. I learnt about them from alcohol markers coloring.

@cheryl Did order them. Ever heard about Blue Tack???? Seems to be also very good eraser.

@pacific8118 I heard about that but never tried. Maybe I should.. I have some at home. I think you would use that instead of the kneaded eraser.
