Module 5 Grid Drawing Assignment
Apple and Banana, This is what I came up with. Not the best proportions, I need to work on developing perfect grid on my reference image 😅
Once again, One with Natural Room Light and other one with LED Lights.

Louise, this eye is lovely. Soft patient shading and the lashes look real. You are much closer than you think, keep going with it.

Hi 👋 sir, actually i did it with eraser instead of white pastel pencil which was seen in tutorials, but i cant use pastel pencils like tutorial I don’t know why, i also tired in strathmore bristol paper too with variety pressure.

Vyshnav, this came out really well. Your highlights read clean and the values hold together nicely, and you got there with an eraser instead of following the tutorial exactly. That is not a mistake, that is problem solving, and it is a good sign in a student.

Abbasi, I can see the extra push you put in here. Contrast is the part most people avoid because it feels risky, and you went at it anyway. Keep going, you are closer to done than you think.

Never figured out these crack shades

Abbasi, you got there in the end and that is what counts. Cracks are a nasty thing to shade because there is so much happening in a small space, and this looks like someone who kept at it until it made sense. Good work, be proud of it.

Louise, welcome. Fun is the right word for it. Three pages of scribbles and shapes and you clearly enjoyed the doing of it, which is exactly how it should feel at the start. Keep sharing it here, we like seeing the practice pages.

My 1st attempts since I picked my pencils back up recently. Hoping to develop my art and learn new techniques. It’s nice to see other people’s art so thanks everyone, you helped me get my passion back 👊
